Hi again, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Christmas always comes and goes way too fast for my liking, I try to keep the tree up for as many days as possible, right up until all the needles fall off.

Tomorrow is the last day of 2017, come Monday we welcome in a new year with 365 days of endless possibility and endless opportunities to splurge all your savings on beauty products (lol).  I have seen many beauty bloggers that I admire compile a list of their most used, can’t live without products from 2017 into a big gathering. I thought it would be fun to do, so here we are!

Keep on reading if you want to learn my top products used in 2017 and why I love them so much, enjoy 🙂

I’m going to start from left to right, so first up:

Aztec Indian Healing Clay Mask-
If you’re an avid Youtube watcher, you have probably heard of this mask. It is amazingly affordable and literally sucks the dirt and impurities out of your pores, and you can feel it happening. If my face feels extra dirty or I have a breakout that needs to be sucked clean (sorry, graphic) then I always turn towards this guy

Sephora LashCraft Mascara-
I stumbled upon this baby by chance, I went into Sephora looking for a certain mascara and couldn’t find it, so I grabbed this one because the wand looked like something I normally like. And I’m so glad I did! This mascara is super affordable, and has made my eyelashes look more full and long than any other mascara I’ve ever used, and it lasts for a super long time. I highly recommend trying it out!

Ouai Haircare:

Wave Spray + Smooth Spray–
As you probably have seen from my various photos, I have thick, wavy/curly, crazy blonde hair. Haircare is surprisingly something I’m not naturally interested in, I don’t usually do much to my hair besides let it air dry and use minimal heat tools. This year I started using the Oaui products and love how they smooth and tame my crazy mane, and they smell so freakin’ goooood.

Glossier (clumping all the Glossier products in this section):

Cloud Paint-
The only blush I have used since it launched, you get so much product in a tiny tube, and the color it leaves on your cheeks is soo good. I normally gravitate towards Puff or Beam for my daily makeup looks, but all of the four shades are stunning. If you like a no fuss makeup routine then you will definitely like these guys, just smear a little on your cheeks and you’re good to go!

Boy Brow-
My little brows always seemed wimpy in comparison to the Cara Delevigne’s of the world, but Boy Brow came in and saved the day. I use the shade blonde every day without fail, even if it’s a no makeup day. Boy Brow adds a tint to your brows, makes them look thicker and also keeps them in place. The best part about it is how natural it looks, I doubt I will ever stop using this guy!

Mega Greens and Moisturizing Moon Mask-
I am an avid face mask-er, I do different masks about twice a week depending on what my skin needs at the time. I used both of these Glossier masks very regularly all throughout 2017 and my face loved it, neither of them are harsh or irritating, and they get the job done (one for detoxing, one for moisturizing). Pro tip- I keep them in the fridge so they feel extra nice when applied.

Super Pure Serum-
The holy grail of the three Glossier “Super” serums for me is definitely Super Pure. I recently stopped using the harsh benzoyl peroxide acne treatment I had used for over a year, and Super Pure is my new main man for treating and preventing acne. It’s especially good for the pesky hormonal breakouts that pop up unwanted now and then.

Wowder-
The best part about this finishing powder for me is the pore-reducing, blurring, airbrush effect that it gives.  It also gets rid of excess oil or unwanted shine on the face, and makes a really nice natural finish. I never finish my makeup without putting it on, it just makes you look put together! I wear the shade light. *Disclaimer: it’s not super mattifying like some other face powders, it’s not the powder that keeps you looking like a baked cake all day*

Perfecting Skin Tint-
This guy is honestly my ride or die, no matter if it’s summer and I just need a little skin evening or brightening, or if I’m doing a full glam look, it’s included. It makes your skin have a nice glow to it, and gives just the tiniest bit of coverage if that’s what you’re into. On “no-makeup” days when my skin isn’t looking it’s best, I’ll just put this on (in the shade medium) and a bit of concealer and call it good. It’s also really lovely to mix in with your regular foundation, it makes it blend better and appear more natural!

Anastasia Beverly Hills:

Dipbrow in Taupe-
I’ve used this product to fill in my brows for three years probably, but in very different capacities. It’s super good if you want to completely draw your brow in from scratch, or if you just need a little filling in here and there. It’s really easy to work with and smudge out, I love it!

Primally Pure Everything Spray-
I discovered this pretty recently, but it’s quickly become a staple and will continue to be in 2018. It’s an “everything spray” so it tones, heals, treats, etc. It has 100% natural ingredients including some rockstars like: tea tree oil, aloe vera, lavender, apple cider vinegar. I would highly recommend this if you’re looking to add a toner in your life but might not want to splurge, this one sprays on super easily and does the job well!

Herbivore Blue Tansy mask-
This is the most interesting mask I have ever come across (besides a weird korean tin foil one), it smells super mysterious and is basically blue ooze. But, it has a wonderful cooling feeling on the skin. It’s a winner because it is both an AHA+BHA (alpha hydroxy acid and beta hydroxy acid), and provides a gentle all natural exfoliant to resurface and purify your skin.

Gourmand Lip Balm-
Not gonna lie, this one is mostly because of the packaging lol. It looks like the Rodin lip balm, and it smells super yummy. There are definitely more hydrating lip balms (like the Le Labo one or Glossier Balm Dotcom). It does give a nice sheen and feel to it, and the cute-factor alone makes it’s worth the $4. I had to include it in, it’s been floating around in my purse for months!

MAC Lipstick in Cosmo and Twig
These babies are the perfect, and I mean perfect everyday lip color for me. They are the prettiest nudey-pink shades that look like my natural lips but better. The formulas are creamy and feel nice on the lips, and last a long time. I kid you not I have been wearing one or the other every day for the last three weeks…besides the occasional Fenty Stunna lip paint of course.

Weleda Skin Food-
If you have a hippie mom, there is a high chance that she uses this. It’s all natural, super heavy duty moisturizer with a spot on name- it feeds your skin super hydrating, calming ingredients. My face loves this stuff, some say it’s too heavy for their skin, but I love it whole-heartedly. And, it’s very affordable. If you’re in need of a rich moisturizer for winter you might want to give this a try.

Farmacy Beauty Green Clean-
It’s named the makeup meltaway for good reason, heavy duty makeup just slides off after I rub this all around. I used to use makeup wipes, but didn’t like how much they tugged on my face (homegirl doesn’t want wrinkles!) It’s a bit on the pricier side, but it’s made with all natural ingredients and has a lot of product in it and will last a while.

Last but not least:

Mario Badescu Rosewater Spray-
I have loved this product for years, and 2017 was no different. It smells heavenly and calms and soothes the face like no other. It’s the perfect prep spray before makeup or refreshing spray in the middle of the day..basically just the perfect spray all around!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and please feel free to leave me any comments with questions or recommendations for products you loved in 2017 (:
